This cake was entered in the Mid-Atlantic Cake Show in March. I'm very thrilled to say that I won the grand prize!!
It's light chocolate fondant that's been sprayed with gold (more than I intended), and the flowers are gumpaste. The panels/bottom border combos are gumpaste. The cakes were separated about 1 1/2" before I put on the panels. The base cake board is 21"!! It's the largest cakes I've ever made for competition.
