This is a lightning mcqueen 3D cake made for my sons second birthday. First time i made a 3D cake since i'm really a newbie to baking and cake decor. I made a circular mud cake and then carved it. The decals are all gumpaste and the car is covered in MMF. The bigger square cake is chocolate fudge. I also made and placed a gumpaste piston cup as the candle holder and gumpaste flags and the birthday boys name in the background as decor. Unfortunately i put those in last minute and don't have a decent pic to post.
