I made this cake for my nanas 70th, i got the idea from a cake i saw on flickr, it was a stunning cake and i tried to recreate it, it doesnt do it justice but my gran really loved my version. Its a dark fruit cake, with marzipan and sugar paste. The cup, and carnations are made from sugar florist paste so my gran could keep them.
