This is my (nowhere near as good) version of the black and white cake posted by kwebbeltje not too long ago. This was for my mother's 70th birthday. Her favorite flowers are pansies and color is purple. I wish I had had more time to focus on the details but I was also having a party for her and really had to put something besides cake on the table! :)
