All edible. The barrel is strips of fondant stained with water down gel coloring. I actually scored it and made the knots with the shell fondant tool. It works great! The leaves were done with the spray food coloring and then sponged with watered down brown gel color. I had fun with this cake...mainly cause it was my bday cake LOL
