Inspired by many wonderful ideas in this site. But, I particularly want to thank Kristycakes and Chopinlistz for their help and assistance, thank you girls!!! This was for my grandson's 3rd b-day and the cake needed to be 'fixed' 3 times since he kept gettting into it...I finally left the elephant with a broken ear since I runned out of time to fix LOL. --Top layer is RKT, second layer is chocolate cake with Nutella mouse filling, bottom layer is a dominican cake with pineapple, cream and pecans filling. Gumpaste figures and fondant decorations. Frst time I can actually say I had fun making a cake...I followed the book Planet Cake instructions and used white chocolate ganache under fondant and that worked out great! BTW--after my grandson got into the cake he asked if next time I can make those bananas bigger!! LOL
