This design came from the new Wilton book. But it's also inspired from a dress I saw in a bridal shop. Shop owner agreed to let me make this cake and put it in her display. Notice the lace behind the cake for the design I was inspired by. I did 2 sides in red and 2 in black so brides could get an idea of alternate colors. Normally decorating a cake takes me about 4 hours ... this one took close to 2 days. 200 fondant circles and close to 100 half circles, cut out and decorated with Tip #1. All fondant except for the red BC design.
