4th of July Picnic
4th of July Picnic

I made this to take to my sister's picnic tonight. Hershey's Choc. cake with Hershey's choc. filling. Buttercream icing with fondant accents. The cake could have been better, but the bow was an experiment and I'm very happy with how it turned out. TFL.

Thank you! I used my sugar gun with the medium round disk. I alternated strings of red and white, pushed them together and then gently rolled them with my small fondant roller. It was very time consuming.

oops! I hit enter by mistake. I meant to add, be sure your fondant is soft. If it is to stiff or dry it won't work. Although it takes a little extra time to make a striped bow, I really like the effect and think it is worth the hassle.! TFL
