Those red rosettes are nice. I like the bit of white in some of them.. I am not sure what the octopus has to do with the redwings, but I guess those are the fun ones for the family after the game?

The octopus has been a long time tradition of throwing on the ice before each game. The 8 legs used to be how many games it took for the finals. Now it's 7 games, but the tradition lives on. The purple octopus has since become sort of a mascot.
