The 3D painting is also known as the layered painting and it's just that -- layered. If you look I have airbrushing, hand painting, piping, sponging etc. all done in layers for a dimensional effect. Spiffy, huh? Laughing

Hey y'all, here's a tip: if you are doing this cake, it looks MUCH better in pastels. I did another cake right after this with bolder colors of red, yellow, white and purple flowers. It looked terrible!! The customer was happy but I wasn't. Part of what makes this look work is the delicacy of pastels. Just FYI. Laughing
