This is the cake I entered in the special occasion/one tier cakes in the Capital Confectioners That Takes the Cake show in Austin. The cake is done in fondant. The trees and hills on the side are done in fondant. The characters were cut by hand out of gumpaste. The wind swirls were hand painted with luster dust and highlighted with light blue air brushing. The loop bow was done out of gumpaste and accented with polka dots cover with white sanding sugar. I place first for this cake.
