This cake was made for a Read Across America celebration at my son's school. The top layers were the hat for the cat in the hat. The bottom layers had many of the Dr. Seuss book titles printed along with "sound" words. The idea was good but the cake did not travel well so this could be considered a caketastrophe as well. Vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry cake with buttercream icing.

Thanks. You are way too kind. If you do make the cake be sure and tort ALL the layers and secure well with dowels especially if you have to travel very far.
