This cake was for the mom of one of my customers, not sure if she is a teacher. I colored the fondant with color gel and the shiny look comes from a little trick I read about...use a wide bristle paint brush to apply cooking oil. The cake has a 6" two 8" and two 10" cakes split, filled and stacked ( total 10 layers). The shape came from sculpting.
That is so nice. It looks so exact. I'm making my daughter's Sweet 15 cake and need to put a large cake apple on it. Do you mind sending me the instructions?
