Very nice! I am doing a chocolate wedding cake with a similar effect on the buttercream. Can you give me any advice? Mine haven't turned out nearly this nice.
Thank you for your compliment! I am so used to trying to do smooth icing, that I found this to be a challange. My method resulted in making short strokes, lifting the spatula and going in a different direction. My best tip is to try not to be too careful. The bride said, "Do it as if your grandmother had done it". So, my mindset was "make it tasty" .... forget organization!
