Color is great. Did you emboss the flowers and stems and then go over them with an edible marker for definition? I'm guessing here but it looks that way - cool! And spill about your candy strip roses, cuz they're beautiful!

The painted flowers were made with thinned royal icing and then free-hand painted. To make the candy stripe roses, I dusted the color randomly onto the still soft petals before attaching them to the flower. I did a lot of testing with colors before finally getting it right.
