Did this for a university student's Portugese class presentation, hope she did well! It's a hand-cut 14" cookie.
It took the full 24 hours for that baby to dry, wow!
Thanks so much everyone! It was actually fun to do. I did use my royal icing recipe, yes. To bake the huge cookie, I just turned the oven temp down to 310 degrees (so that the edges would brown before the centre was done) and it baked for about 30 minutes!
Your cookie is so cute and creative. I love all the detail work you put into it. The colors were perfect for it. To hand cut a large cookie and have it turn out so nice is really a talent.
