Yes it's a tiny little spiked wheel on a roller, it was in a flower making tool kit i got. I think you can use a stitching wheel for sewing that will do the same thing.

Sorry for the delay in answering (I’ve been away). I took a large rectangle cake and cut it into three then stacked them (layered with buttercream and doweled). I then just trimmed the top and shoulders into the shape – you don’t have to take too much off, just enough to make it slightly round. HTH

LOVE IT! The colors are great together! What did you use for the gold? There's a few different golds out there, curious as to which one you used. Beautiful cake!

Thanks, It's a gold lustre that i buy here in New Zealand. It's made in Australia and the brand is "Golden Day" it's the best gold I've ever used and it usually only takes one coat!
