Crazy For Chocolate!!

Chocolate cake filled with whipped chocolate ganache and toasted almonds, frosted with chocolate buttercream and covered in chocolate dough. Whoooo!

How did you handle the sides? It looks like strips welded together, or overlaid and rolled together? Did you apply the side as all one piece? Beautiful.

Thanks Luddroth. Actually they are individual strips placed on the cake to overlap the other. I started from the bottom and before the final strip I put a disk to cover the top of the cake and the final strip was placed to overlap the top disk as well as the side of the cake. Hope that makes sense.
