Does any one have any ideas on doing a construction hard hat cake for an adult who is in the business?
Thanks

I bet you could do one like this and just frost it yellow and make it look like a construction helmet.

Hey Sgirvan,
My friend just did a Fireman's helment for a groom's cake. She used the ball pan ontop of an oval pan. The oval pan wasn't much bigger then the ball pan, just big enough to make the rim of the hat. She said it was so easy. I saw the pics & it looked great. Fireman's hats look just like hard hats. So try that ok. Sorry I can't share a pic w/ you. But I really think the picture is in your head already! Good luck~

Thanks for that idea tcturtleshell, I think that is what I am going to do. I'll post pics when it is done. My hubby has a hard hat in the shed that I can copy from.
Thanks
Shayla
