Freezing Cakes

I just made two cakes for a client and she as limited space in her refrigerator, can she place these cake in the freezer. The party is not until sat afternoon.

If it's iced in buttercream you could. I would place it in the cake box; wrap the box in layers of plastic wrap, a layer of heavy foil and put in a palstic bag (if you have one big enough) then place in freezer.

Do they have perishable fillings? If not they will be fine on the counter until Saturday. I never refrigerate my cakes thumbs_up.gif

ditto mama. Unless the cake has a perishable filling there is NOT a reason to refrigerate it. Refrigeration dries out cakes.
