Candy Melts On Rice Krispie Carriage Are Lumpy

I poured candy melts over a carriage shaped rice krisie treat but they are not as smooth as I had hoped for. Is there any way to smooth them out or repour them? Should I just start over and cover it in fondant?
Could you fit it in your microwave to soften the candymelts and smooth it while its warm?
Get a pot of hot simmering water going on your stove, dip a small metal icing spatula in it for a few seconds, quickly dry (dry completely with a paper towel!) and smooth. The hot spatula melts the chocolate just a bit. Get it as smooth as possible and repour! If needed, re smooth..but that should give you a super smooth surface!
If you use modeling chocolate on top of your rice krispies, you could mold it with your hands.
