How Do I?... Rose Swirls On The Cakes
Decorating By jewels710 Updated 30 Apr 2013 , 3:26pm by Angels Bakery
Seems the new trend I am seeing on here are these beautiful cakes covered all with the rose swirls.
I have tried a few times to do just ONE of these roses...
What am I doing wrong???
Can someone please help explain or is there a tutorial anyone knows of?
Maybe its my tip...what tip do you use?
I can't find anything.
Thanks a bunch
Love that look too! I had the opportunity to try one yesterday on a bday cake for my sister-in-law. Followed the instructions on this site and it came out really nice!

Good luck!
Ive used a 1M tip.
You start in the centre and work you way out the the edge, you keep the same height unlike swirls where you get higher to form the peak.
I tried it on cupcakes first, much easier as you can hold the cupcake but then you can see what angle it is you need, then did the cake. The tutorial someone posted above was great.

AIf I have a 3 tiered cake to do like that for Friday. Can I make it Thursday? Would it be okay over night? And would I refrigerate it or can I leave it out? I am so scared of the flowers melting or falling off ={
