When it comes down to it, isn't it ALWAYS time for cake? At our house pretty, decorated cakes come in for birthdays (there are 8 of us, so that is frequently), school events, thank you's for teachers and co-workers. Who doesn't smile when they see a work of art in edible form? I won't ever do this for a living, because I am intolerably slow and obsess over each project for a month at a time before creation, so I wouldn't be someone fun to live with, but I will take every opportunity to express love in cake form that I come across! |
