All About Me	I got back into cake decorating with the birth of my first child. Not for me the plain iced cake, oh no, I was making templates and cutting shapes and icing it all. Then I discovered Debbie Brown and just couldn't believe you could do that with cake! Who knew a cake could be carved into a castle or a dragon or a ship? It took quite a few years after the birth of my third child, to actually attempt anything from this 'bible' but once done I flew. Like many of us, I began making cakes for friends and then friends of friends and then random phone calls from others and so on, and suddenly I was a cake designer and decorator! Certainly beat being a registered nurse with the shift work! I like to make novelty cakes or cakes with a bit of quirkiness to them. Conversely, I also love the structure of the wedding cake, and believe that less is more. In all my cakes I try to adhere to the KISS principle. Keep It Simple Stupid.
