   Hello there: Thank you for the pictures, I would like to know the name of the lady who painted the beach scenery cake and the of course the brand of the colors she used.

   The woman that does the painting on cakes and is holding her painted beach scene cake is Chef Laure’l Silverberg
   From WA State Cake Show website
   “Chef Laure’l Silverberg Is a Le Cordon Bleu trained chef with more than 20 years of experience in the pastry business. She is the creator of her company “The Sweet Palette.”

   An active member of ICES, and former member of its Board of Directors. She has created a patented process for food-safe rubber stamping, teaches an adaptation of Donna Dewbery’s one-stroke painting for sugar and chocolate, and make beautiful Gelatin Flowers.”

   Hi Ladies! In answer to Ximenilla’s question about Chef Laure’l’s cake and the colors she uses are a special blend from Americolor. These can be purchased from Chef Laure’l directly. I was lucky enought to take this class from her at the show and it was fabulous.
