Wedding Cake
I had to travel 2 1/2 hours with this cake, and the bride wanted a smooth buttercream, not fondant. So....I made the cakes and crumb coated them. Then, travelled to the town, rented a hotel room with a kitchenette and decorated the cake in the hotel room. The biggest concern I had was being sure I had all my tools with me, including pans in case I had a disaster and had to find somewhere to "re-bake"! It all went fine and the bride loved it.

Barney Birthday Cake
Well I couldn't find anything out there for a Barney birthday cake other that the Wilton pan ones and I don't like doing those. I took 1/4 sheet cake pans and made 4 of them. 2 of them I iced in between and stacked then I took one of them and cut into the number 2 and placed on top of the last cake. One half of the cake is white and the other is chocolate. The icing is all buttercream and I stuck with the 3 Barney colors, yellow, purple and green. The Barney and Baby Bop were done by royal icing flow.
