This was my first attempt at a pool table cake... My husband made the stand.

Edited: Several people have asked how I get the shiney look. It's a trick I learned at a cake club meeting. After your fondant hardens, brush a thin coat of vegetable oil over it. The fondant will absorb the the oil, and it does not affect the flavor. Thanks for the compliments! I love doing wood grain stuff!
