Last minute birthday cake needed for a friend that day. 11x15 yellow cake cut in half and stacked. Rice noodles softened then dried and airbrushed brown to resemble straw. Cake covered in butter-cream then airbrushed with edible paint. Wine bottle is chocolate cheeses are fondant. Corks are also chocolate. Think it turned out OK for a rush last minute order. Made this for my daughters 3rd birthday. She wanted pink and hello kitty. Cake is a strawberry cake, with a whipped strawberry icing. Hello kitty was done free hand. Bow is made from fondant and center is covered with silver edible dragees. Side is covered with "bling" strip.

Family tradition for many many years. Pound cake lamb, covered in a cream cheese frosting then covered in coconut. Gum-paste orchids were my added touch this year. TFL
Done for a friends friend. Yellow cake with strawberry kiwi flavored home made butter-cream. Baby booties were done from gum-paste and petal and shimmer dusted. Roses are butter-cream and meringue. Thanks to all for the inspiration on other cakes and to the one who posted the booties pattern. TFL
This cake was made for a bride and groom who got married in St. Thomas however had reception here in the states. At there request pound cake. Cake are made from round 12,10,8 inch. With buttercream and Michelle Fosters fondant. (thank you Michelle got such great compliments on the yummy fondant) Fondant was colored ivory. Cymbidium Orchids are all hand made from homemade gumpaste, and dusted to the colors bride and groom picked. Covered in petal dust. Thank you so much to everyone on CC for all the inspiration. Made this cake just for fun. Styrofoam covered with fondant. Sides are gumpaste and top. cut with the cricut cake. I was just playing with the different boarders. TFL

Had to share this technique. My mother in law did this. I have never seen this made from fondant bidimensional all fondant minnie mouse. Looking forward to her visit so she can teach me. Wanted to share in case anyone else out there never saw this before.

Made these for my family's halloween get together. Yellow cake covered with purple buttercream and yellow stars for the moon. Bats are edible rice paper. Last minute request from my mom. Got the idea from the Wilton cupcake yearbook. TFL

Made this cake for my sone who turned 14. He loves call of duty. Yellow cake with pudding filling covered in MMF. All parts are made from MMF. "sand" is graham cracker crumbs. TFL
Made this cake with my sister for a halloween party. Yellow cake 2 16x16 squares. One side is a haunted house made out of gingerbread. Entire cake is edible. All parts are chocolate, "blood" is pipping gel, tree is made from gumpaste. Dirt is chocolate graham crackers, frnce is also chocolate graham cracker. This is my first halloween cake and was so much fun to make. TFL
3 tier marble cake. 14 inch, 12 inch and 10 inch. Covered in MMF. all leaves are gumpaste and sugarpaste. Buttercream filling. Pumpkins and acorns are a 50/50 gumpaste fondant mix. Did this for a friends wedding.
Made this cake for my brothers 40th birthday. Cake is yellow cake in 11x15. 3 layers alternating chocolate filling and vanilla cream. Covered in fontant tools are fondant and gumpaste. Thanks to all you CC members for your pictures they helped alot. TFL
