Shoebox Cake

My first attempt at a gumpaste shoe. I had a lot of trouble but I liked how it turned out over all. The lid to the shoebox is RKT and the rest is red velvet cake.

Gnome Cake

He is made of 6 - 6" round red velvet cakes. His head, hat, feet and arms are RKT and he is covered in fondant and modeling chocolate. He was starting to lean a bit so I propped him up with a tiny bottle of tequila, which was appropriate for the birthday boy : )
