As usual with me, another rushed cake. I must admit, there are 2 things I cannot achieve: making ruffles and roses.

This goes wit the stork cake. Daddy was given a shower at his work (a police officer).

It says. "Congratulations on the successful swim!" It has sperm swimming around. Those are also supposed to be little sperm on the border.

The guy that ordered this asked for a baby shower cake but something "manly." I had seen a version of this on another site over a year ago and wanted to do it.

This was my brother in law's "shower" cake. The shower was a his and her shower. This one went with the green calla cake. His cake was chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and rolled buttercream icing. trimmed with molded chocolates that I made. Could also be used as a grooms cake!

I made this shower cake for a co-worker- who had been trying many times to get pregnant (and going through much heartache in the process) was a expecting a little girl. I had a lot of fun putting my heart and soul into this cake design. I also got a lot of compliments at work on it- so the late night hours on this cake (see the thread in cake disasters called "Holy Cake....sort of" to get part of the story on this cake) was well worth it!!!

This was a cake for a baby's Christening. The baby is plastic, however I glued a piece of fabric onto the baby and then piped a basket weave on top of the cloth to look like a blanket. The cake is covered in whipped cream and the spray of flowers is colored whipped cream. The writing was done in blue gel.

14" round- Bride's White Cake; 10" round- Buttermilk Devil's Food Cake; 9" heart- Chocolate Amaretto Cake; all filled with Raspberry filling (ladycakes.com) all iced with Buttercream/White Chocolate icing. The pink is from the filling- I had a little disaster with the big cake, so I made it look like I did it one purpose. Got a lot of compliments on it (*sigh* if they only knew)

2 Layer White cake frosted with Wilton's Decorating Icing and topped with a purple bow made from the MMF recipe from this site (very good recipe by the way)... with a purple trim at the bottom, & white swirls all around. First time to do the swirls and I hope to get better with more practice.

This is a simple cake I made for a baby shower at my daughter's school. I made a lot for them last year and wanted them each to be totally different since all the same people would be seeing it. That was a challenge. But I love using my oval pan sometimes instead of the usual rectantular, and a two- tone cake looks good for a baby shower. I made the blocks with candy melts. The cake is just classic white with buttercream icing.

This was a heart shaped cake to go along with the Noah's ark cake. Owen was born 4 weeks premature, but when you look at him now you would never guess because he is the same height as his older brother who is 2 years older than him.

This is the cake I made for my cousin's baby shower. It was a gift so I didn't have any restrictions. I had seen the little shoes on the internet somewhere, and came up with the design for the cake. I thought it turned out really cute and is one of my best cakes.
