9X13 chocolate cake cut and stacked, covered in fondant with hand painted design. Base cake is a 9X13 yellow cake iced in buttercream with gold dragee accents. The 'make-up' items are Wilton candles. My step-daughter LOVED this one!

Birthday cake for a friends family member who loved the other LV purse we did. This one is a smaller version and not as detailed as the other LV purse. This was confetti cake with bc icing covered in fondant.

This cake was created for a thirteen year-oldÂs birthday. She wants to be a fashion designer. It is a 10Â chocolate layered cake. BC frosting with Pettinice buttons, dress cutouts, fabric and needle/thread accents. Your critique/constructive criticism would be greatly appreciated.

This was my very first major order, it was for a sweet 16 party. Mom wanted shoebox and purse cakes, thanks to many of the ideas that I incorporated from this website, I was able to do it. The shoebox lid is a MMF covered styrofoam rectangle. However, the bottom of box and handbag are cakes. I am really not that comfortable with fondant yet, so there were alot of little mistakes, they loved it though. The shoe was made from gumpaste. Any tips for working with fondant???

Based on an Emilio Pucci Handbag this purse is a three layer oval chocolate cake and hand painted over Satin Ice fondant. Your critique is highly encouraged!

This was done for a last minute cake for my cousins purse party. I happened to have the correct colors already mixed up in butter cream. Its a little sloppy compared to my usual standards - but it was fun.

Thanks!

They originally called me wanting this cake for 40 people,
but even when I explained that this design would feed a lot
more than 40 ~ she still insisted it be all cake (no styrofoam).
So....she got a cake to feed 130 and I got a check for $300.
The bottom cake is chocolate fudge cake with chocolate buttercream
filling, iced in blue buttercream with white fondant ribbon and Tiffany & Co
piped on. The next cake is orange/lemon swirl cake with lemon curd filling,
iced in orange buttercream with the Hermes 'H' piped on. Next is red velvet
cake with cream cheese filling, iced with red icing and the Valentino logo
piped on. Next is a chocolate mint cake with mint buttercream filling, iced
in chocolate with the gold Louis Vuitton symbol piped on. Last is a vanilla
cake with raspberry filling, iced in white buttercream with black bow and the
Dolce & Gabbana "D & G" piped on. 12"/ 10"/ 8"/ 6"/ 4" We took it unassembled
to the Delano hotel on South Beach where I proceeded to set it up in their front lobby
area. I had quite an audience while I was stacking it!!! Then Todd carried it through
the hotel to their restaurant where the birthday girl and her guests awaited. And yes,
that top cake was leaning a bit....but it was cut and served very shortly thereafter ~ so no disasters!

These are made with a mini ball pan (could make larger ones with regular ball pan). I put on a thick layer of BC and then I cut a circle of fondant much bigger (just tested different circles) and covered each of them to look like a hat! I used colored buttercream and piped on swirl designs then cut little fondant flowers to embellish.

These are MMF covered sugar cookies. I hosted a baby shower for my friend who is a purse lover so I made these as favors and made a diaper bag cake... these were all fun to make!

I've wanted to try making a purse cake for the longest time and I finally got my chance! I threw a baby shower for my friend who happens to love Coach! I made a regular sheet cake and just carved it, iced it with buttercream and topped with MMF. Everything is edible. I wish it looked a bit more even but it was definitely a lot of fun to make!

My second one...I think its improved from my first although I think I might prefer if the straps were down...can't figure out how to attach them that way, though. This way at least I can use skewers.

This is the Louis Vitton Speedy 25 bag with a few minor alterations! The Epi leather was quite time consuming to replicate. Accents in fondant/gumpaste mix..

I had loads of fun doing this. My first attempt at doing a handbag cake. I was very pleased with it. It is this season Gancho Dior handbag. I did a joke behind the cake as the cost to buy the actual bag & shoes is over £1000, and did the money of £35 to show that she still had money left over. Money was printed onto icing sheet with edible inks. The birthday girl was happy with it, but did not want to cut it. Cake was chocolate vanilla marble cake with vanilla buttercream.

It's a 8x4" and 4x4" cake covered in fondant with a lv print on the top tier and coach signature print on the bottom tier done with edible images. I had some bulging on the bottom tier because the cake had mousse inside.. it was a fancy dessert cake that i wouldn't usually cover in fondant, but its her fav. The cake is creme de cacao flavored chocolate cake with a milk chocolate swiss buttercream and a coffee mousse. TFL
