I am overall pleased with this project. Next time, though, I won't put a wart on her nose. It looks fine in person, but loses the effect in the picture. Also, her face looked really good until I finished her eyes. Now she looks kind of like a possum, to me.

This first shot is the overall view.

One 12" hexagon cake with s spider on top. The spider's body is the wilton mini-ball pan with a donut hole for the head. Pipe cleaners for legs. The black icing is made from chocolate buttercream.

Pipe cleaners for legs, goggle eyes, and plastic teeth, super easy to make, the trick is getting "black" icing instead of grey or purple!

8" yellow cake covered in fondant. Scarecrow and fruits/veggies are fondant, chicken, leaves and grass are buttercream. He was taller but the fondant settled a little bit so he looks a bit squashed.

You can't see the back but the oldest of my 3 dug out 2 little holes with her fingers. Trying to repair it was not fun but it will have to do!

This is my first ever decorated cookie. I know it's not Halloween yet, but I only have a pumpkin and a ghost. I thought they turned out pretty well.

This kind of goes along with the pumpkin cookie. This one turned out better than the other ones. I've never had to do a mouth, so I'll really have to practice.

Thank you to Aunt Judy who helped me with this cake. I knew nothing about this show.
It is actually 2 cakes. One open and one closed coffin, sugar cookie tombstones with the TV characters names on them. Fondant covered dowel rods for handles, and a choc. transfer of the tree logo from the show.

Wilton pan - Elmo w/ Ice Cream Cone. Outlined Elmo's body, but changed party hat to Hogwart's Student hat, ice cream cone became Harry's Nimbus 2000 broomstick. The book logo was printed on white paper and laid on the cake - non edible. This was, I think, the 6th cake I ever made - after completing Course I but before Course 2.

I got this idea from Wilton's 2006 Yearbook. I used half of the Sports Ball for the body and a mini ball for the head. All of the details (face and legs) are candy. The cake is one of the CMD ones- chocolate with mayo. The icing is buttercream (green) and chocolate buttercream (black).

This is my very first cake & my fisrt time using fondant. It is a Classic Yellow Cake, 2 layers BC in the middle. Used the Wilton Leave shape Fondant Cut-Outs. I painted the veins on the leaves with Wilton Brush-On Color. The pans I used were 9 inch 2 inches deep. This picture is a top view. This was just a trial cake to see if I could actually do it & now hubby can't wait to eat it,lol.

I copied this cake from Chikie on this site - THANKS - I get so many ideas, inspriation, and help from eveyone here!! I brought it to poker night since it had a halloween theme - but I think it grossed people out to much. I had much fun making it though! My kids loved it. It was all done out of MMF.
