My first time at building a tower which took a bit of returning to the old drawing board after the first go was a bit wobbly, we then insertd larger silver rounds of card aroung the base of each tier but about 22' wider than the origional dsc and hey presto! (minus some lost hair and a few years off our lives! :-)

This is a 6" cake w/cupcakes to match. I bought the little plastic rattles and diaper pins at a Dollar Tree store and wanted to incorporate those colors in the cake so I made the multi-colored fondant flowers for this reason. Booties on cake are made from marshmallows.

For my DD's best friend who loves bears and fairytales!
Everything in the cake is edible - bottom layer is a chocolate chunk sponge with BC icing. Top layer is a dairy free strawberry cake with dairy free BC and fondant icing. Topper is a chocolate castle mould. Bears are fondant and gumpaste mix. Towers are mexican paste. I loved making this one as it was so many different bits come together at the end!

10" and 6" with ice cream cones for the towers. Covered in BC. I used a impression mat to make the building itself look like brick and piped BC on towers so it would look like stone. Windows and doors are fondant. This was for a first Birthday party. I made a pillow for the smash cake with a crown on top.

Every princess bride's fantacy - to get married in a castle. Cobblestone path leads up to a caslte complete with turrets and towers. Soft pink thatched roof peaks to match the wedding colors. Flags flutter high on the turrets in the cool breeze. Decorations were constructed from fondant and gum paste. Towers were made from hollow tubes of gum paste, cobblestone steps are carved from krispie treats. Use of round and hexagon cake shapes.

This is a cupcake tower i made for my cousin's baby shower. she is having twins and i was excited to try making one of those amazing cakes on here with the baby bottoms. also the cupcakes with the babies under the blankets. the cupcakes are french vanilla and strawberry (made with fresh strawberries) they had a 1/2 italian meringue and have BC (mixed) icing. I made the tower myself with things i got at home depot (only cost about $5) i hope you enjoy looking. i was happy with how it turned out.
