This cake was made for an 11-year old's birthday. Mom said she was into art, so I had her figurine painting her name on the sign. Eiffel Tower, girl & poodle made from fondant/sugar paste. Cake is dark chocolate, filled with chocolate buttercream, coated in dark chocolate ganache, and finished in vanilla fondant.

Simple Tangled tower cake. This was a last minute order, so I didn't really have time to do too much with it. Based on cake sent to me by customer. 6" round and 6" hexagon, and RKT roof with fondant shingles. (The shingles took FOREVER!) It looked very pretty, though, when it was all done.

This was for a wedding I did last month, the venue set up the display and didn't push the wrappers down on all of the cupcakes, but I think it still looked nice.

Tangled Rapunzel tower cake with tower that lights up. It stand at 24" tall with hand cut cake board and back drop. The cliffs are hand-painted fondant, with an icing-sugar sparkly waterfall and stream. The whole of the land is cake, the roof is RKT, completely edible and comes off to switch on the light in the tower. The tower is a hollow cake dummy which is pink and sparkly when you look through the windows. The figures are printed edible images as I wanted it to have an authentic Tangled Rapunzel look.

I have never been to Paris and this is probably the closest i will get to being there. When Cathy (jenn's mom) approached me with her daughter's birthday theme, I got super excited. Another cake off of my bucket list. First time to do all over vertical striped pattern and thank you to Lesley of Royal bakery for posting her tutorial (if i did anything wrong, it's only because i did not read thru the whole thing, which is to be expected of me) I was able to do the stripes so neatly. The cake was the easier part of the order, the macarons were not so cooperative (most likely, it's user error). Loving this theme altogether.

I loved making this cake and was so pleased Id practiced on a castle for a friend first! The tower is 1 foot tall RKT with white choc to strengthen and was made in three sections. Although quite top heavy it travelled without a hitch for 30 miles even over speed bumps and potholes! **After several PMs I've written a wee guide and added it here- sorry if you saw it seperately and it disappeared- I hadn't realised a guide counted as duplicating a cake upload so it had to be removed :(
Have fun! :)
