Here is a pink castle for a girls 9th birthday party. It was a great success, and I enjoyed making it. I just whish it wouldn't take so much time! I must have spent at least 10 hours on this.
Thanks for your nice comments !! Yes, the turrets are decorated with brushed emroidery. I made a base of pastillage and then adding the icing on to them. Once they were dry I painted them pink and added pearl shimmer. The base of the towers are actually cake (with filling) but the pink tops are hollow.
