The most unusual cake I've done....... yes what you see is real shark jaws. The cake replicates the brides dress. The reason for the shark jaws was because they were going to a Great White concert after the reception. Gumpaste roses highlighted with luster dust adorn the top of the cake. The groom spray painted the jaws and I glued them to a piece of plexiglass so that 1) people wouldn't be grossed out by the thought of eating a piece of cake that an animal jaw had been sitting on and 2) because I didn't know what kind of paint he used. The ribbon was in two parts and I glued them together. Came out pretty, but very unusual. My husband asked what kind of cake I'm doing next for them (they ordered the Goth Cake from me) and I'm afraid to ask.

Wow, beautiful cake. I applaud your cautiousness/creativity with the jaws.

Hmm, other than the shark jaws it's beautiful but of course they go with the color scheme nicely.
