thank you! it was for my sons 5th birthday party this past weekend. the bomb was inspired by one i saw on a website... www.coolestbirthdaycakes.com (?) I also made a briefcase w/ a magnifying glass.

i forgot to add...its made from wiltons sports ball 3d pan, covered in fondant. the "fuse" is a candly slightly melted so i could bend it to shape, then i added a piece of fondant to the end and painted it with luster dusts. at the party, we just removed the "spark" and lite the "fuse" , it was very cool.

i used toba garretts moist yellow cake recipe on epicurious.com - though its moist--its scratch, so the density for a shaped cake is just fine.
