My niece is starting veterinary school so I wanted to make her a cake to match the theme. While I have tried my hand at sculpting cakes, I have not tried to construct one like this. Everything is made from cake except the tail and ears which are pure fondant. It may have been easier to use rice crispies for the legs but not as tasty to eat. A really fun challenge!
