Bright orange buttercream 6 8 10 tiered cake for my son's "explosions" themed birthday party. Meant to look as if the fondant and royal icing stars and melted-candy "lava" are bursting out the top of the cake. (Had problems with bulge - didn't think I needed a dam with plain bc filling but obviously I was wrong. But all present loved the cake.)
