Inspired by Pottery Barn Kids Easter baskets. The baskets were weaved with strips of fondant instead of traditional buttercream basket weaving. The eggs are fondant covered styrofoam (very tricky to get them perfectly smooth). The grass is tiny thin strips of fondant ripped into shreds. The Easter bunny was inspired by Andreas Sweet Cakes. This cake won First Place in the 2011 CO ICES Sugar Art Cake Show for Holiday Cakes in the professional Division.
