Birthday cake I made for myself. One of my friends is lactose intollerant so I cut out a slice and used royal icing on it instead of buttercream and put it back in with parchment to prevent it touching the butter. In the layers there is jam, buttercream and small pieces of chocolate. My mum made this cake for us for many many years for our birthdays but this was my first attempt
