My client basically designed this cake.... its a very cool design but this cake, for alot of reasons, gave me no end to headaches! And its not over yet because I caught the beginnings of some minor bulging on one of the tiers as I was leaving, so I'm still stressed about it. :-) I also think I did overkill on the base tier leaves.

Yes the pumpkin is cake.
Everything you see is edible except the gold wires and then of course the internal supports.

Well, my goodness, this cake is just something else...super fabulous. The pumpkin would be enough to rip my eyelashes out....you did a great job! I love the leaves. The cake is very airy and whimsical....but not silly. It's beautiful, truly. No worries. Great execution...I'm not sure about the bulging...can't see it. In a day or two...you'll look again and love the final product.

Leaves on base tier - PERFECTION! Don't even think of taking one away. This is one fantastic cake - maybe my fav. autumn wedding cake ever - there is something so real about the scattering of the leaves on the bottom. Great work!!!

Thanks! I just used cookie cutters and rolled the paste really thin and used a veiner.
