The florist tried to tell the bride the cake *HAD!* to be covered in fondant:( I told bride I'd refund her double if my b'cream version didn't hold up.....and, of course, it did. Turned out to be a rare humid day (for that area) and the florist had to replace most of the flowers just before the event started. Notice all the black spots, especially on the left side of tablecloth and 2nd from bottom tier? All those spots are flies :( The wedding was held outdoors at a cattle ranch.
