This cake served as several 1st for me: 1st carved cake, 1st hat, 1st scorpion and rat (as if I'll be making very many of those lol). The little boy having the Indiana Jones bday party asked for very simple instructions: something Indy like, lots of bugs and creepy crawly things. So I thought I'd do the most widely known symbol for Indiana Jones-his hat and whip, with some of the bugs from his adventures. Fondant scorpion, rat, and slugs. RI black bugs.
