Yep, I baked the cake in the cone... I filled them way too much though and had some overflows... Baked at 350 for 25 mins.

Oh thank you, but the cup idea was from somebody else on this site.... I didn't save the photo, don't remember the user name. So thanks CC! :D

They are adorable. I never would have thought of packaging this way - too cute! I must have missed it when JennT posted it, so Thank You both.

You should fill them only about half. I had some problems as I, as usual, over filled them! Lesson learned I guess!

I absolutely LOVE the presentation. I was planning on making ice cream cone cupcakes for Valentines day, and I may have to go out and get some M&M's so I can present them like yours :D

Love it...love it...love it.... I need a reason to make these, what tip did you use for the frosting?

on

I love this idea. Very creative way to transport them too...but if you don't mind me asking..How in the world do you get them out of the cups without ruining the whole thing? How did you get them in without destroying them?

O so gorgeous! I wish I'd have seen these yesterday..they'd be in my daughters class right now for a valentines party...Beautifully displayed :D

These are cute and I'll have to remember the cup idea. I made some for my daughter's b-day, but didn't have a good way to keep them standing up.

Oh wow, thanks for the response!! I used tip 1M and well, to put in and take out of the cup, you have space to stick your fingers and pull it out. And to put the BC on top, I just placed the cone between the M&M's for support and piped it. Nothing tipped over and then BC crusted, so it was all good!

Man, I wish I would've seen these before I made a gazillion cookies that I stayed up till 2:00a.m. decorating for my son's kindergarten class. This would have been soo much easier. Too cute!

My mom used to make these when we were kids and now I make them for my kids and grandkids, they are always a hit. You added the touch with the m&m's and the cups. Very cute!!! :D

Thanks sooo much!!!! :D I appeciate all your super nice comments!! And the "getting out of the cup" part, well, it was so funny... the first thing must of the kids did was hold the cup and lick the icing off! After that, they just took it out and ate the cone!
