Fresh strawberries have done the same to me, with my sisters bday cake as well!! I gotta figure out a better way with out adding so much powdered...

I have had the same problem with strawberry icing being too runny too. You have to add lots and lots of powdered sugar to make it set properly.

It's still really pretty. I just made strawberry cream cheese icing two days ago, and it was runny too. Tasted wonderful, though.
