I tried the JEM cutters again and I do like them! I was using the wrong kind of paste before and it was sticking.

BTW I'm sure Satin Ice is a great product. Tons of professionals use it, I'm just used to working with marshmallow fondant. :)

I cut the petals for the roses out with a round cookie cutter and then shaped them.
