Your cake is very cute. Love the clowns. Have you tried the Viva papertowel trick for smoothing?? It really works great.

Thanks Dana! No I don't have Viva towels I have to get some. I tried parchment paper and that worked decent.

I dont think so I am self taught also. did you use a viva paper towel to smooth ??? Blue shop towels work for this also.My lace always looks bumpy...
