Alternating tiers of WASC and yellow/chocolate marble with buttercream frosting. Bride wanted piped vines with fondant leaves to stand up a little. Flowers are real.

I love this! I'm doing a tiered wedding cake similar to this in two weeks. Using silk hydrangeas instead. Do you have any advice for placing the flowers so that the icing beneath doesn't get messed up?

cakeshy, first, thank you! I was sick as a dog with severe morning sickness when I did this cake so my hubby delivered and setup (you may notice a couple thumbprints along the bottom border). :oops: I would say, once the flowers touch the icing, just make sure they stay there! If you're talking about where they sit, just use a layer of acetate or wax paper cut to fit the cake round. HTH! PM me if you have more ???'s.
