Noah on Cake Central

Okay. This is definitely my fav cake yet - it was sooo FUN to do! I had a blast making the ladybugs - who would have thought bugs were so much fun?

It's hard to see in the picture, but each ladybug had tracks from where she had been on the cake, looping around the flowers and through the grass.

Thanks!!! Midge - the lady bugs are just two balls of black fondant (one slightly smaller than the other) pressed together and covered with a piece of fondant cut with a small circle cutter. I rolled the "neck" back and pushed it into the body. The spots were cut with the end of a straw and placed using water to hold them to the body. Hope this helps....

This cake is super cute! All the pictures of your cakes are great...is this a special computer software. It just makes the cake look even more special!!

Ok, I am going to go back and redo all of my cake photos... your cakes just look too awesome like this. (not to mention that they are just awesome to begin with!) This idea is super cute too! Might have to just borrow this one!

I am just now seeing your cake . . . almost 2 years since you've posted it and you are still getting comments! And justifiably so!!! This is one of the cutest cakes I've seen and definitely going into my favs!! :wink: This was a clever way to make lady bugs!!!! I absolutely love it!! :lol:
